But an injury-marred 2025, followed by a controversial exit from the program and a prolonged transfer portal process, places a bright spotlight on Leavitt this fall. He joins Kiffin at LSU with massive expectations. Kiffin's quarterbacks almost always hit it big, but Leavitt will have to display better accuracy and durability as he joins a new team in a new league. LSU has an opportunity to rise quickly under Kiffin but will need a big season from its decorated transfer quarterback.
